Christmas at MiMi's
Here are a few pictures of the kids when we were at my mom's house for an early Christmas.
Parker is now 3 months old.
Parker is now 3 months old.
This picture was of all the grand kids. Trying to get this many kids to take a good picture all at the same time is crazy. As you can see we did not succeed in that. I think there is someone in that picture that is not liking to take pictures..... :)
Parker again playing on his jungle gym. They change so much is such a little time.
Callie being BEAUTIFUL.!!!

Here she is at my Nannie's house opening gifts.
We had a great time while we were in Dallas. I love my family, they are awesome! In my family it is funny to watch how every time you turn around someone is holding a different baby. We have had 3 babies just this year that are all about 3 months apart. It doesn't matter where you are if you hear someone crying or someone needs help, if you are the closest you fix it and help them, because chances are that someone else is doing the same for your kids in the other room. It just one big happy family, and it is so fun to be all together.

Santa Hat Pictures
Here are a few santa hat pictures of parker. My mom has a picture of all the grand kids in santa hats above her fireplace. So this year she sent an e-mail telling everyone she needed santa hat pictures of all the new babies. ( there are 3 new babies this year) so here are a few shots i got of parker to send over to her so he can take his spot above the fireplace next to his gorgeous sister. Christmas is almost here.... :)

Our Christmas Letter
Christmas 2008
Merry Christmas everyone! This year has been a very blessed year for us.
First off let’s start with Dave. Dave’s business is going pretty good, it is still a baby but we are working hard to get it growing. He loves living here in Houston, the plants are mainly why he likes it. He gets to have all sorts of tropical plants, this next year we will not have to buy any produce. We have almost every fruit and vegetable in our yard. Some of his favorite things to do this year were of course to play the guitar, make our yard beautiful with Callie, live through the hurricane and of course have his first son.
Christy has had a wonderful year. She stays at home with the kids and loves every minute of it. Every day she has a new project she is doing and of course running all over the place just to help other people. She didn’t know it last year around this time, but we had another little one on its way. What an amazing gift to get when that’s all you wanted. She is such a wonderful mother to our children, and a loving wife. We could never survive without her.
Callie is such a wonderful spirit to be around. She is an awesome big sister and a great daughter. This year she started kindergarten! We can’t believe she is 5 already, time sure is flying by. She loves school, and is doing great. Her favorite things to do are, help daddy in the yard, play with parker, help be mommy, read, do so MANY arts and crafts. So she pretty much likes to do anything that involves getting dirty. We are so proud of her and so blessed to have her in our lives, her smile will make anyone’s day worthwhile.
Parker (our new addition) is just the sweetest boy. He decided he wanted to wait and come during the drama of Hurricane Ike. He was born on September 20th. Being a Gaskin boy, and of course only being 3 months old his favorite things to do are eat, chill, eat, and cuddle. He smiles every time when he hears his daddy or sister walk in the door. Even though we had to wait years to have another one having Parker in our lives is so amazing, he was worth the wait.
We hope everyone has a great Christmas and a Wonderful New year.

Love, The Gaskins

Our tree
It's not a great picture, but here is our tree now. It's been up for a while now so the cats and kids have been all over it so it dosent look its best now. But here it is, and i'm getting anxious about it. Dave wont put my presents under there yet because he thinks i will open them before christmas. I don't know where all these people get the idea i will open them before christmas, even my mom won't put my presents under the tree, if she does she hides them in the back where i can't see them. I mean come on people i'm 25 now, i did that as a kid. What makes you think i havent changed??? HAHAHA Your right i havent... hide those presents good because i am on the look out!!!! :)
It snowed.... IN HOUSTON
How cool is that? I've been so bummed since we moved here from seattle, all because it is hot and texas is ugly ( no offence texans ) I swore up and down i would never move back to texas, but here i am, and my goodness i was like a little kid in a candy store when i saw the snow!! It snowed!! Not a whole lot but enough to make my christmas season more wonderful! I am so excited for christmas, i careless of what i get or if i get anything, i just love watching callies face. Sorry but i am not that excited for parker, he doesn't know whats going on yet. Next year will be fun with him. But callie.... oh my she keeps asking how much longer, and looks at her presents already under the tree. She wont touch them ( we wont let her, she will figure out what they are)
but she looks real close and tries to keep guessing. Every time we need to go do something and we aren't paying attention to her she tries to sneak around to find her other presents. Shes a little stinker. So now off i go to the store while she is at school to get a little bit more. :)
